 Gyau Skills Academy was founded by professional soccer player Joe Gyau, a third-generation professional whose family has left an enduring mark on the sport. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, Joe carried the Gyau legacy forward while carving out his own path at the highest levels of world football. His sister, Mia Gyau, also reached the professional stage in Europe and went on to play for the San Diego Wave in the NWSL, making the Gyau family one of the rare American families with multiple generations of professional players.

Joe’s career began in the U.S. National Team system, where he represented his country from the U-17s all the way through to the U.S. Men’s National Team. Known for his explosive pace, technical skill, and fearless style of play, Joe quickly rose through the ranks and attracted global attention.

His professional journey took him to some of the world’s most respected clubs, including:

• TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (Germany – Bundesliga)
• Borussia Dortmund (Germany – Bundesliga)
• FC St. Pauli (Germany – 2. Bundesliga)

Throughout his career, Joe has competed at the highest levels of international and club soccer, bringing home invaluable experience and a professional standard that few American players have achieved.
